The ninth Lost Boys International open tournament will take place August 10th-19th 2001 in Amsterdam. Mikhail Gurevich, Loek Van Wely, Ivan Sokolov, Jeroen Piket, Pavel Tregubov Emil Sutovsky, Boris Avrukh, Jan Timman and Friso Nijboer head the field of 85 players.
